Title: ENGINE ERROR?

hi there i am a complete beginner so go easy :) i have bought a copy af halflife orange box through my steam account.  i have successfully installed sdk base and have goldeneye source beta 3 installed.  when i open the game up and go to find servers i have no servers at all to choose from.  i can find servers in steam but when i click on a server i get this message after attempting to join server
ENGINE ERROR
ON GAME RULES CREATION STRING CHANGED: MISSING GAMERULES CLASS 'CGEMPRULES' ON THE CLIENT.
Can anyone please explain what i am doing wrong?

make sure you have BETA 3.1.

 If so, I would uninstall (delete your gesource folder located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\gesource") and reinstall.

If it still happends, then I would redownload the Installer, and redo the above with this new download:

you need to install the 3.1.4 patch. use the link major gave you
