Well today is the one year anniversary since my mothers passing due to lung cancer. Everyone who reads this please, please, please go give your parents a hug and tell them you love them. You may never have the change to do so again. I am not here for a simpathy post or anything, I just want to stress how fragile life is and how quick it can change.

Wow, I didn't know that man. My condolences, honestly. I think I felt the same way as you when my grandpa died about a year ago too. Very sad news. Good luck for you and your family mate.

I've lost a 2 grandfathers and an uncle, and I was very close to all of them, so i can relate.
I'll do as you ask.

My Father died some time ago. He was addicted to Alcohol. I cannot say it was unexpected, because we recognized his condition getting worser and worser. Yellow skin & eyes, sometimes he wasn't able to speak a single sentence.
But i rather remember the good times we had, before all this happened.

If you don't want to bring this topic back up Jeron, I would completely understand. Being that I am a nurse, I just wanted to know if your mother ever went through chemotherapy and when she caught lung cancer? What stage was it in and what was her most obvious symptom?
-
When they caught it it was in a 3rd stage, it graduated to the 4th stage within a year. Yes, she went through chemo and it made her have no energy and pain where the most prevailant.

Hey Jeron, I feel sincerely sorry about your mothers illness/death. I hope she has gone to where its peaceful place for her for the rest of her life.
