Title: [FAQ] Help texture problem!? (All purple and black textures)

Hi,

I just downloaded this mod and looking forward to joining the community but everytime i start on a server the entire map is covered in pink and black checkers and i have no idea how to fix this.

Im also having a problem of joining servers with maps i don't have. I don't understand why it doesn't download any of the files necessary to get a new map or sound files.

Don't download the Beta 3.1 patch, it isn't the full game, just the files patched between the Beta 3.0 and 3.1 releases.

You need the Full Beta 3.1 installer in order to have all the content.

Delete your "gesource" folder in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods, download the GE:S 3.1 full installer here (http://ges.mksvx.com/mirror/GoldenEyeSource_Beta_3.1.4_full.exe), and run it.
