Title: Beta 4 soundtrack short teaser
Post by: Sole Signal [Audix] on May 19, 2009, 11:24:40 pm: Here's some of my more recent work on the continually developing GoldenEye: Source soundtrack, featuring Dam and Bunker. The Dam track may turn into a GoldenEye montage track of sorts depending on how map development sits. :)

EDIT: Link down due to artist name change. Will update soon.

Post by: JcFerggy on May 19, 2009, 11:39:53 pm: Dude, that is amazing. I can't stop listening to them. Dam is perfect, with Bunker being good as well, but I prefer Dam so much. When I first got GoldenEye 007 I would keep playing Dam since I could never figure out how to get past Facility.

What I love about the music is that it retains the originality of the original songs and yet is modernized in a wonderful and entertaining way that is catchy, and pleasing to the ears. Excellent work.

Dam/Cradle/perhaps more (somewhat of a medley)
Bunker
Streets
Caverns
Casino (with jjmusicnotes, but unfortunately map development is up in the air)

Post by: GeneralChurch on June 10, 2009, 08:07:28 pm: mmm the damn love it but its too heavy on the guitar, i like the whole modern techno remix done for the current beta on certian levels and the silo remix is my fav. since the game is so fast paced i would go with something more electronic than guitar. great work though keep em comin.

What happened to BassTronix BTW?

I don't know where Bass went...he seemed to have dropped of the face of the planet....as of right now, the music is being made by Audix and Goldenzen. Audix any updates that you will be showcasing here soon? Amazing man, just amazing.

He still comes around for release periods and contributes 1-2 new tracks.

Audix obviously is the composer doing the most these days, and now Goldenzen is cranking out a hefty selection. Then you have jjmusic and myself helping out with bonus tracks and classic tracks, respectively. You have a lot of music already, and much more coming in the time til final release.
