How hard would it be to make Goldeneye: Source work on the 360? They have the orange box for the Xbox360.
-
impossible, the sdk has scant support for transferring over to the 360 code wise, but there is absolutely no support for source sdk base 2007 or servers for the 360
-
Oh, well that sucks, so your saying that they had to recode the The Orange Box Games for the Xbox360?
-
No, there is support for the xbox360 in the current code except that we dont have access to the xbox server hosting code and we could never get it on the xbox in the first place as it has to be signed by microsoft (and also the issues of copy right)
-
Why would you want to play an FPS on the 360 anyway?

If he likes it, he can play FPS's on consoles. There are some pretty good ones, even though I can't get along with the controls.
If GE:S ever got to the Xbox, this mod would be in serious trouble, since Uncle Bill likes to get his hands on everything.
-
Cant you just copy the game to a disc, and just pass it out to a few people? That way Uncle Bill wouldn't really have a say about it.

Im afraid its just not simple like that. There are many things that need to be done before it will work on xbox and many steps involving microsoft.
