I played this yesterday and I seriously wanted to cry, it's so beautiful, brought back many fond memories . . .
Anyway, I'd love to be a part of the team, here's my demo reel:

Your work looks good. I'm not part of the team, but I can tell you that you need a more detailed application. It will only do you good; giving more details about yourself really helps.
Oh, by the way, welcome to the forums mate! Glad you enjoyed the mod!

Allrighty, here's a little more about myself, I just graduated in Animation from BYU, I'm looking to get into the industry doing modeling/shading at a major motion picture studio (crossing my fingers). I started college as an art major, tried graphic design, then found my love was really animation. Although I've graduated, I'm still helping finish our senior project "X-ing" which will hopefully be completed in the next couple of months . . .
I work primarily in Maya, and do my texturing in Photoshop. Here at school we use RenderMan, which I love.
. . . anything else I should add?
(Thanks for the heads up, PPK)

I think it's enough; when you make an application, one should look into giving a little feedback about himself, like his interests, his line of work, what he is available to do or not to do, strong and weak points and past experience (on an application of this type, for a mod team, of course). I think what I said is written on a thread opened on this board, but it's always good to say it again. And BTW, I'm not criticizing anyone by saying this.
Thanks for thanking me, kev.

Haha, was that Dwight Schrute in there?
-
Yeah, glad you could tell! I wanted to do a caricature, and Mr. Dwight K. Schrute is pretty recognizable ;)

One of our lead artists will be along asap to field this application! Sorry for the slight delay, we are all enjoying a week break from production.
We will get to this very soon though.

I'm actually out of town at the moment on business, but I was able to look at this application. Your work is fairly good, nice a clean model mesh's, and the fact that you can texture, animate, and draw is a huge plus. I've actually been looking for someone to do some conceptual art for some of our more complex levels, such as Temple, being that we are taking it in very detailed direction and our level designer would benefit from some concept art for it.
I have no problem bumping you to trial, and getting you something to model & texture, and hopefully in the future we can get some concept drawings as well. I'll let spider give his input and will likely bump you up to trail at that time, since I don't have much time at the moment.

Nice work man, I am impressed.
I assume you do your own texture work, but I didn't see many references to your skill in your demo reel.
I would be interested to see you model some big objects like the horse statue in streets or other such props that require precision

Thanks, everyone, for getting back to me.
Killermonkey - Yeah, to answer your question, I do all my own texturing, and I'd love to work on something like the horse statue.
Baron - I'd definitely be interested in doing some concept art as well, I need to brush off my old N64 and get the feel for the level again. (Who am I kidding, my little brother has my N64, I've got the emulated version which isn't HALF as good without the N64 controller . . .)

Seriously! :o And I thought just using one of those Logitech PS2 controllers was good enough . . . looks like I'll have to go visit my little brother and steal a controller!

Bumped to trial, make a topic in the 'trial members' section and I'll get you something to work on :)
