Hello Everyone!
Im new here to Goldeneye:Source,and im amazed how you guys remade the Goldeneye for the engine of Half-Life 2.Great Work!
But i have a quick question:The Secondary characters from Goldeneye(Like Soviet Soldier,Janus Trooper,etc)will appear in the mod or just the Primary,like Bond,Alec,etc.
Just a small doubt.
P.S:Sorry for my English.Im brazilian and i don´t have much training with the language.

Characters are added as soon as we get them done. We intend to keep adding characters until we run out of characters to add. This includes villains and heros from the entire James Bond franchise.

this is just me, but I would like to see a model representing each of the six bonds, like they originally planned to do for the 64 (although there were only 5 ath that time.)
that way, you can play as not only Bronsan's bond, but the suave Moore Bond, The Edgy Dalton Bond, The Classy Connery Bond, the Pissed off Assassin Craig bond, and the sensitive Lazenby bond.
I know nothing about modeling, the only thing I can model is stuff in scetch-up, because thats just click-and drag, but that, in my personal opinion, would be neat.

yeah, that would be very very nice. And I know that you´re all very busy and I don´t know how long it takes to create a new model, but I know something very well: we need more characters ;D

Nope. I already handled that. Keep in mid the Portuguese from Brazil is different form the Portuguese spoken in Portugal. Having said that, I must tell you that I'm Portuguese! Oh, and you are not the only Brazilian here on the forums; there are also members of the GE:S team who are your fellow countrymen!

also what i noticed is that there is no visible difference between using tall and short chracters. Oddjob is the exact same height as jaws. Oddjob is suppose to be at everyone knees. at least he was in the original goldeneye.

I mean... Who will take Jaws if that giant is too easy too shot?

Oddjob is to be the height of Harold Sakata.
Jaws will probably grow once we get the main-line features in and have the luxury of playing with more size variation.
Nick Nack will be the GES short-man.

different heights had different advantage/disadvantages. Jaws was really big but always had a head shot lined up. Oddjob was short and hard to hit but didnt do much damage as his shots mostly was below the waist.

I think you guys are forgetting this is a free mod... I'm just grateful for HIGH QUALITY character models like the ones we have. I'm sure if they could, they'd be churning out 30+ character models.

The height advantages and disadvantages experienced in GE007 do not make much sense on GE:S, since it's much easier to aim for the head or for any other part of the body. The height could be differentiated for logic's sake, but it won't bring the advantages it did on the original (only the disadvantage of being a big target).
