What does your Desk look like? We all have them, post 'em.

Also, HERE is a picture of the massive speakers I play goldeneye with. I have these hooked up to my computer with that amp on top of my desk (you can see it in the previous picture) and these speakers pump out 320 watts of sound. Oh yeah, listening to runway with these speakers are heaven. Goldeneye weapons sound amazing coming from right behind me whenever i play. :)

Picked them up at a garage sale for 20 bucks. That was for the amp and both speakers. SUCH A GOOD DEAL :)

Hey man, I like it that way, but some things to point out.
- On my floor at the left is my N64 with GoldenEye 007.
- Behind my desk is my Sonic 3 case from the Sega Genesis.
- There is a broken wireless mouse on top of my monitor.
- 2 Scrabble dictionaries in front of my printer.
- Under the left of my monitor is a broken wireless phone.

There is also several drawings on the wall left of the photo, but you can't see them.

But yea, I myself have the Old Spice High Endurance deodorant. Works the best.

@Audix - Nice setup man. :) Pretty awesome. I would have to say you beat me..but mine are very accurate as well...they just get really loud. They are 3 way speakers for highs, mids, and lows...it is VERY clear, but how they stack up to yours...I am not sure. :)

Nah we have 2 living rooms and our kitchen/dining room is in the middle, my room is too small for a desk and my bed. And besides I am getting my apt hopefully soon haha, and besides when I wanna work on models and art elsewhere I use my macbook pro, work school etc.

Oh, absolutely. I bet your speakers sound "better" than mine. Just saying that mine are made to expose all the flaws in the music I'm producing so I can fix them--accurate in that sense. :)

What are the advantages of having LCD anyway? Besides the obvious size and power efficiency (which makes it much easier to have multiple monitors, as you fancy people seem to like)?

I was always under the impression that good ol' CRT was better for gaming and quality graphic display in general.

I still have my infinitely heavy 7 year old compaq monitor, which still works to my satisfaction.

Lcds are easier on your eyes if you have to stare at them 10 hours a day, you can get widescreen, and they are just plain nicer to look at. Plus you just can't really buy CRTs anymore.

LCD's use to have ghosting and color problems in the early days, but as long as you spend a decent amount of money, those aren't really issues anymore. The only exception might be for a graphic designer who needs super precise color calibration, but I bet high end LCDs will still hold their own.

Its not really to "impress" people -- Trust me I'd rather have had saved my money on buying two more monitors, and used it on other things, but the workflow practically requires it and is much easier this way.

I don't have any pictures of my set up, but it's basically the same as some of the above shown setups. Much like Lodle's setup. My main monitor is what I do all my modeling, texturing, animating, etc. on. The second (right side) is mainly for references. Except on my 3rd monitor (left side) I'm running a different PC, so that I can be running a game build, in this case GoldenEye: Source, while I am working on things at the same time. -- All are 23" Dell LCD's.

This was very beneficial when I was freelancing work for Crytek, working with the CryEngine 2 sandbox running live on my 3rd monitor.
