Title: server issue

I think steam did not fix the update yet i believe. I just updated the server files and I get the  error *Unable to load steam support library*

*Server will operate in lan mode only*

If its working for you guys, what way can I get the server back to normal operation? Thanks

yeai downloaded the server patch... i cant seem to understand where the steam.inf file goes.

gametype goes in the gesource mod right?

then where do i put steam.inf?  in the tf folder? or client side? thanks

Put it in gesource. On the server. You'll see a file with the same name already in the root of some other games.

aha. I had it right before, but because I posted again, it was this issue.


steamservice.cpp 275 assertion failed to start  in process steam service

server is appearing in the list.. just that error i hope it doesnt really matter. ;) thanks to both of  you

yeap, I updated before the server patch..   should I update it again?

Edit: updated server just now, it didnt apply any updates or anything, said hlds updated sucessfully.

oh well, dont worry, as I connected to the server and its ok.
