Title: VC's Laboratory 90217
Post by: VC on February 17, 2009, 07:53:15 pm
General information today since I should be performing Operation Spring Cleaning, and instead of dealing with my closet, I'm making charts.

GENTLEMEN, BEHOLD!  Weapon accuracies, base and when spammed!

Silly question, use some logic and all will be revealed.

I'm going to leave that to you as a critical thinking exercise.

ok...well you wanna know why I don't get this..here is my reasoning. It seems like you are saying that the lower the blue on the graph...the more accurate the gun is. however, from this data, it doesn't make sense how the RCP90 can be more accurate than a PP7S or that any automatic gun like the AR33 and D5K or any of those can be more accurate that A PP7 or a DD44 or any small pistol. On top of that, it is saying that shotguns are highly inaccurate...which I do not believe to be true when you compare them to a klobb. The klobb is almost right next to the Rocksalt and the Auto which makes NO sense considering it is most difficult to kill someone with a klobb but I can easily own someone with a rocksalt or an auto...and they aren't that far apart. I hope you can begin to see that I am not a complete dumbass and maybe you understand why I do not get the graph all the way. Unless I am totally reading this wrong, then in that case, please enlighten me to some of the reasoning behind it since I obviously don't have the brain to understand some of the logic behind the weapons. :)

It helps when your gun is shooting 6 bullets at once.

ok....that still doesn't make sense that the rcp90 and other guns are more accurate than the PPs....

That some players wouldn't expect RCP90 to be more accurate than PP7 Silenced (for the first bullet) is why I created the chart.  (That, and I wanted to see if I should put KF7 before or after ZMG in my custom weapon switch priority.)

Just imagine, I had to convince the entire Dev team that this is not only the way it was in GE007, but the way it should be in GES.  Took three years...

Alright, I just found it hard to believe that the RCP90 was really more accurate than the PP7, but you would be the one to know. Thanks for the explanation. Hopefully you can see where my confusion was coming from. :)

I think it is fine. The first bullet of the RCP-90 is better, but compared to the several others of the PP7, I have no problem with that.

Yeah, that is why I would consider VC to be an UNREPLACEABLE GE team member. From all the updates he does and all balancing he does, he deserves much respect.

He casts a shadow warm and brilliant; bathe in it.

And I start yet another new page.
Seriously, what the hell...
