Title: [BUG] Could not load library client
Post by: CCsaint10 on February 13, 2009, 01:32:17 am
The name says it all. I got this while just trying to launch Goldeneye Beta 3. I loaded it up fine last night but now it won't go. I have restarted my steam and tried and also restarted windows and it still gives me the same error. I have orangebox-sdk installed and all my other source games run fine (including orange box games)

You get that when tryign to join via the Steam server browser or trying to join through friends.
load up the game then use the inbuilt server browser.

nope, I got it when I was just loading it from the steam list. Didn't join from the server browser or the friends list. Anyone else? Plus, already said I loaded it up last night and I didn't change my method.....

you didn't put any command line arguments in right?

other than that, the best thing I can say is to reinstall (save your gamestate.txt!)

Nope, no command line arguments....do you think it might be a vista problem? It just seems weird it would work last night and not today. :/ thanks KM for the post. :)
