Title: voice settings problem
Post by: WatchMyTrace on February 12, 2009, 06:02:10 am
My microphone comes though broken and unreadable unless the mic boost gain is turned off, this used to work just fine but now when i turn it off in voice setting it never stays off. Whats going on? do i have to change something in the config file?

If the server you are playing on is choking on the player counts then its also going to choke on your mic transmissions. Remember, this is not a separate thing like Ventrillo, your voice ingame goes THROUGH the server then to the clients...

Did you change it only in Source GUI or on your sound drivers?
