Title: Servers
Post by: UnKnown-Pain on February 11, 2009, 12:53:31 pm
Are 100 TICK servers supported. Now i've just placed a 6 month lease on a 100 tick GES server. So have i just wasted my money ? TBH i thought you guys would have sorted it out but i heard someone say during B3 testing it wasn't supported.

If its not supported could you please make sure on your next server fix release it is.

Thanks.

The problem is not us but the source engine. Simulating doors on 100 tick leads to problems. Best bet is to scale your server down to 66 tick.

OMG Valve have not fixed it still this is tha main reason why all HL2DM server should be 66tick it not only messes up door bnut messes up the physics and HL2DM is all about throwing phys objects at each other also the crossbw doesnt work properly.
