Title: Gold PP7

Was it really necessary to make it so prolific? I mean, Getting killed by a golden gun is one thing, but a PP7 that kills with 1-2 hits? At least the Silver PP7 has it's respective and inherent weaknesses.

It should be an ultra-rare weapon in any case. Right now it feels like it gets rotated into play way too often.

Gold PP7 in Goldeneye 007 is a 5000-damage weapon. It is reduced to 200.

There is a weighting system to reduce the frequency of premium weapons. I will support reducing it further.

Don't get me wrong, it's fun to use. But right now I think it shows up way too often compared to the Silver PP7 and other viable WEPON like the DD44.

I agree, i see it maybe every 3 rounds and it ruins the fun. I would rather use the golden ppk than the golden gun any day.

We have implimented a weighting system on weapons for random weaponsets this will sort what weapons spawn how often and what slot they spawn in. This will be in the patch.

Ah, cool.

Will it limit the # of explosives that spawn? Especially in packed servers?

Only one explosive may appear in Random at a time.

Let me rephrase that.

I think ANY kind of explosive weapon in a packed server is a bit too much. They should be rare in such a case.

Another issue everyone spawning with proxies on a packed LTK game is just silly.
not sure if this is due to the game or the admin.

best thing to do is to complain to the server host not to do random weapon spawns, and to use the weapon sets instead.

or do something even better and vote with your feet. Join smaller severs i think the game plays its best with around 8 people. i only play the huge servers of 16+ people when i want a kill frenzy destruction derby kind of a game.

yeah most of these maps are not made for too many people since beta3 ive seen how hectic it gets.  could the random weapon spawns still have some parameters limiting what the player spawns with in hand though?  I know you can choose to spawn unarmed which pesonally i dont mind

yes it will for the next patch for sure, our programers already got something like that set up. we werent expect that random weapons was going to be the most common server setting when we launched the game. expect the patch to really nail down the few of the games current short comings.

Random is revised such that the weapons are sorted by ID.  Strongest weapons will be in the power weapon slots, common weapons will be in the low slots, and as the spawn weapon when Start Armed is set.
