 Umm, no comment...
-
Is this really a glitch or some crazy gamesharking, because I've seen nearly everything being done in GE64 with it. nevertheless, funny video.

 BTW, check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdTbae33Oa0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdTbae33Oa0)
And watch all the other parts. This is genuine fun!

PS: you, as avid GoldenEye fans, have probably already viewed this one and many others, but it doesn't hurt to watch again!
-
Its when you wiggle the game cartridge.

-
heh. I remember doing this once or twice. In Ocarina of Time, you can do this to get past the stupid kid blocking the way into Hyrule Field right at the start of the game.

-
Wait what? TEACH ME! (i still have a working n64)

-
When the game is running, just reach over and smack (or jiggle) the cartridge sticking out with the palm of your hand (any side you choose is fine, but I prefer the right side) and craaaaaaaazy things start happening ingame!

If you do this in Mario 64, then Mario starts freaking out in a similar fashion to the characters this video also
-
I want this video in 1080p. NOW!

-
Hmm... Moving the cartridge around sounds like a good way to lose your data.
And I would slit my wrists if I lost my GE007 data.
-
Just wait until your cartridge battery dies.  Those things aren't immortal.

I did so much messing around with Goldeneye using the Gameshark when I was a kid.  I remember when I figured out a code on my own that allowed me to walk around in all those places where normally the game would end with a cut scene.  There's nothing much at the bottom of the dam (above the facility), but it was exciting to go down there  ;D

And seriously, just watching manorisms of the guards, their reactions, death animations, etc., added hours and hours of hilarious/interesting/pointless gameplay  ;D  Ah, I feel like playing it again
-
I never had a Gameshark myself, but I did stand watching the guards pick off flies and scratch their legs. It is a feature some modern games lack, for how surprising it may seem.

-
They also sneeze, though it's rare.

Well I gave the glitch a try. Saw it for a split second but couldn't get it again...
-
Smacking the cartridge? All you have to do is very carefully lift up on one edge of the cart (right or left, I don't remember), then the characters start going batshit.

-
may find this funny as well.

Jeeze, that's two new pages I've started in the last 10 minutes.

Hell, these guys should get a proper job. You can clearly see they are a bunch of morons.

They'd wish some of the most recent games got to Goldeneye's toes... And not trying the multiplayer mode? Who the hell plays GE without playing the multiplayer? Only if you live in a freakin' cave nowhere near civilization...

And I've just watched the original video... No words can describe the lack of knowledge from the reviewer. Just watch it and take your own conclusions...

				Oh cripes...
I saw some other reviews... not a smart person.
While the voice sounds professional, he says a lot of really stupid things throughout all of his reviews, and is just flat ignorant of so many things.

I shook my head at the DooM (SNES) review...

Though this is getting off topic.

-
*shudders* "aliens invading a high-tech base on mars"? I swear, these guys must have written the script for the movie or something. You were spot on with your comment in that video.

-
				Video 1: ROFLWTF!????
Video 2: Wow. Just goes to show that Clinton wasn't the best judge of N64 games. And to think that Goldeneye seems to have pushed the N64's limits. Seems to have.
-
I believe "Clinton Years of Gaming" is just the name of the show.

GE007 did push the N64. I mean, not as much as PD``, but for example, a lot of the object like computers, cameras, and even the door decoder have a lot of detail on close examination.
-
perfect dark also had to have the expansion port

-
Exactly.  Then again, PD even pushed the Expansion Pak, since it couldn't handle a game full of simulants, game modes and four players.

Also the video and whole point of this thread = instant classic.

Oh man, lol at the train bit.  GET UP, GET DOWN, FALL DOWN AND BURN (baby burn).
-
Super-bump for learnings. (And thread re-railing)

 Kid? lol thats an owl.

Who gives a fuck, that kid was pain in the ass. Hated that owl, especially before you see princess needed to get pass the guards and that stupid ass annoying owl would appear.
