My boss contacted me this morning to tell me some fantastic news, He has got me a ticket for GDC 2009. I was so excited i almost fell of my chair. This means ill be road tripping to America for a week in march and i get the chance to mingle with the games industry finest.
Cant wait. :P

Congratulations man. I usually end up watching the coverage of GDC on G4, so while your there, try to get on camera so you can point your self out to us later.

don't get your hopes up about GDC though its so so unless you go to the conferences, and have business to do. and its FUCKING crowded haha.

Perth -> San Fran on the 21st March
San Fran -> Detroit on the 27th March

Detroit -> LA on the 29th
LA -> Perth 30th
Back in Perth on the 2nd April :P

Never watched GDC nor had ever heard about it, but after you mentioned it, I can understand how big this must be to you. I wish you the best of luck and a good trip. Then post something here when you're back! ;D

GDC is not a consumer show so im not surprised you havnt heard of it. As i want to get into software engineering in the games industry its a very big week for me.
