I just installed goldeneye source and the 1.1 patch. But whan  I open up steam there is 2 goldeneyes. Here is a screeanshot:

That's how it's supposed to be. Beta 1 doesn't get deleted by the bat updater.

Go to Program Files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods and delete the "gesource" folder.

Then only 1.1h will be there.

Is it really ok to delete the gesource folder? I imagine it contains some files needed to play 1.1. Hence the fact that it makes you install beta 1 before you install 1.1.

Its fine to delete the gesource folder as 1.1 copys all the files it needs into its own folder. It was done this way so people could still play both (as the 1.1 patch was unofficial)
