I'm not using in-game voices. voicequality is only for hlds (not srcds) as far as i'm aware.
Get a ventrilo or teamspeak. You'll have something decent for less than 10 bucks a month.

I have a Ventrilo, just no ones gonna join a server then jump in ventrilo. just don't see how other servers have good voice quality, there has to be a setting.

The regular voice quality in Source sounds great to me the way it is.

I used to know the command when i was serverhosting, and i know for a fact many GE:S hosts have always limited the voice quality in the past. People could never hear me in game even tho i have a 400$ mic that rapes faces on vent.
The default is decent as i experience in CS:S where no tampering with qual is hardly seen.

Just wanna know, cause I'm gonna hopefully be moving my server soon, so bandwidth won't be a issue, so was trying to get it to highest possible. But now not to important, cause I'm limited to 1mb upload till I move server out of my house...lol
