Title: VAC question

Someone hacked my account and I was banned from VAC servers, so I decided to play GE source instead of CS source, but all the servers are VAC protected, is there something i can do about this? Short of rebuying source?

Well, I really don't care if you belive me, because I know what happened and I don't feel like explaining it to you, and you probably wouldn't care anyway.  I just don't think that GE Source servers should all be secure.

Yea, that too. There's tons of "banned for no reasons (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=35)" on the steam board. This is the first time I see one emigrating here.

if you can prove your account was hacked and still have the boxes and cd-keys to the game you can take pictures of them and send to valve. I had to do that before belive it or not..

otherwise theres a -nosecure option when you make a server.

then again ive been away for a while so things may of changed
