Title: Why can't you use the original music in the maps?

If it's not for profit then there shouldn't be a problem I thought?

We don't own the rights to the music, so distributing it with the mod would be seen as filesharing. Same way that all p2p is illegal in the US.

The _classic themes are pretty accurate and the quality is much better, I hope the new version will fix the looping though.

you personally can use whatever music you want however..

There are a few google searchable places to get the old tracks ripped as mp3, then just rename those files overwriting the current ones in the sound/music folder of GE:S
