Title: The Hiya Thread
Post by: Kua on February 26, 2008, 03:09:34 pm
Hiya!

The title is slightly optimistic, but these forums appear to be lacking such a thread, so perhaps this could be it.

I only just came across your project today and I'm very excited. I truly believe the N64 was the best console ever (I'm now a converted PC gamer) and that it produced three truly groundbreaking games: Super Mario 64; Legends of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (four if you include the equally magnificent Majora's Mask and, of course (!) Goldeneye.

The game was so intuitive, so atmospheric and it is truly rare for a game to be equally majestic both in single player and multiplayer mode. Sad to say, I never did quite complete it in 007, but I thought the 'advancement level' (I'm struggling to think of a better term - but hopefully you know what I mean) was extremely well judged: it just had me stumped :) .

So I do trust and hope you will keep all of the elements. And looking at the, time, man-power and devotion that's gone into this project I need not worry.

So all the best, I'll be checking back here in the future with keen interest and as soon as I've got my hands on a copy of Half Life 2 (and I needed a good excuse to get that game, which from what I hear is the only FPS to truly approach the greatness of Goldeneye) I'll be downloading that beta. Oh, and I'm also very excited at the prospect of playing my first beta!

A very happy Kua.  ;D

Hiya lol...

Oh, yea! N64 was truly the best console ever. At least, I known what I bought: a console, not a shit full of useless optionS like the PS3... However, I'll add Perfect Dark to the n64's 1337 game list, wich is, with Majora's Mask, the last hit on this console.

Btw, you dont need half life 2. Just buy HL2DM on steam: it's cheaper.

'Sup guys, I installed this about a month ago now but just started on it properly little more than a week ago.  Aside from the obvious bugs, this game warrants me sitting playing it for hours, which is the first game in a while to make me do that every day.

If I missed a more recent/prominent thread for this, go right ahead and move this post or delete it, but otherwise why isn't this pinned
