I know briefly what happened, and that he was a great deal to the team, but please dont ban me for asking this question, but.....
Who is Nick Bishop, and wht happened to him?

I believe he was the head man of the GES mod, and committed suicide. The DEV team has since been making the GES releases in memory of him.

But, why did he........ya know? Some one told me he had money issues, or something like that, not sure.

I would hope that you won't get banned for asking that question. That would be sad. I don't really know what happened/who he really was either. I am intrigued....

Your not going to get banned for asking. We're actually glad that you did. We want people to know about him, and want to know about it.
To give you a short answer, Nick committed suicide, by carbon monoxide poisoning. It's hard for us to say why exactly, because nobody knows what he was feeling right at that moment. From what his family told us, he had severe self depression, which they told us he was known to hide it very well. That's why it came very unexpected, nobody on the team knew of this depression, and it was very sad to find out because so many of us could have helped him.
Since then, we've made it known that this project is dedicated in memory of him.

I did not know him, but I probably played online with him a few times, as I was around a lot before and after the release (this was before the boards were reset/crashed).
