Title: Goldeneye's Stack and Complex Reborn into Halo 3
Post by: MasterChief2829 on January 04, 2008, 03:55:56 am
As you may or may not know, Halo 3 has a feature called ''Forge'' which is a map editor for the game, but not in the traditional sense, it's pretty limited. Anyways if you look hard enough you may find some quality remakes of some classic Goldeneye maps. One of the better I've seen is this Stack map, which you can download at http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=15581131&postRepeater1-p=1#15619390

There is also a Complex remake I found which looks pretty good, you can download at http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=15689071&postRepeater1-p=1#15772302

A little more than that. You can spawn weapons, edit the timing of spawns, objects, vehicles, equipment, etc.

Some people find really crazy and creative ways with doing some things in Forge that are awesome.

Ya but forge is just still placing pre existing assets to make a some custom stuff. It isn't per say a true level editor it is a level variant editor. But for those maps above you need the map pack which is $10 and honestly after playing cod4 mp beta and now the full game i haven't really cared about halo's mp.

All modern games suck at multiplayer. Go play Skulltag online, then come back and tell me it isn't the game.

Good, no one should.  Just as crappy as the 2nd, and the 1st, for that matter.

The first was excellent. I can understand why people may not like the later two, but Halo: Combat Evolved was to the next-gen consoles (back then) as Goldeneye was to it's time pretty much. It showed even further the capability of a console fps with dual analog sticks too. >_> Oh and I'll be posting a little machinima related to this soon. :)

Death to dual analog sticks!

Those environments are so bland.  Ugh.
