I have been following the mod for a while now, not being able to play yet due to an out of date machine. I recently bought a new computer that just came in the mail and picked up the Orange Box. I was wondering with talk of releasing a new stable version (http://forums.goldeneyesource.com/index.php/topic,1353.0.html (http://forums.goldeneyesource.com/index.php/topic,1353.0.html)), if the next release is far enough away I should just get the current version or wait for the next one to include more of the recent work to be included.

Well, depends on how keen you're on playing GES.
I would grab the current version, no matter how close or far the next is, cause i would like to play it right now.
It's always nice to see some more people playing GES, it shows the Dev's that all the hard work is worth it.

There is no need to wait for the next release, download the mod, install it and have fun. (This is an Order  ;) )

Make sure to get the 1.1 patch as well. DEV's should start linking it in the proper places so that everyone has a chance to play the 1.1 unofficial patch. It really is good stuff.

Either way get the game now, I'll see ya in the servers when I get off of work.  ;D

Well I only could stand a week. The photos looked great, but playing it, wow. Great Work, Cant wait for the RCP90 to be released.
