Title: Moddb Mod Of the Year 2007
Post by: Ryan [Saiz] on December 06, 2007, 03:18:04 am
As you know in the previous years this mod has done fairly well in the moddb mod of the year awards, but we can't do well in that competition without you our fans and supporters. The competition is divided into 2 voting phases. The first is the nomination phase and the second is the top 100 mods. During phase 2 you pick your favorite 3 mods and vote for them. We cannot do well in this competition by ourselves, and require your help and support to be successful in this competition. If you wish to help us out this year click on the image below and vote for us in the competition for 2007. Phase 1 ends in 14 days, and Phase 2 will begin shortly after that.

Live Scoreboard (http://www.moddb.com/events/2007-mod-of-the-year-awards/scoreboard) - This displays the top voted for games and the last 6 votes. It also displays how much time is left to vote.

In the past the mod has been very successful in the moddb awards and has received many awards and we hope to continue to be one of the top mods around. This is because of you, our fans. Your support has gotten this mod into the spotlight and your continued support helps it grow and continue to get better with each release. The mod completion proves your support.  In 2005 the mod received 4th place in the unreleased mod category. In the following 2006 awards the mod received 3rd place in the released mod category for user's choice. In the editor's choice awards the mod received the reinvention award. Without your support we would not have been successful in the competitions.  All we ask of you is to vote for us if you are a fan or loyal supporter of this mod.

But here is to another successful year of development. From all the developers on Goldeneye: Source we would like to say thank you for your continued loyalty and support for the mod in the past, present, and your loyalty continuing into future. We will continue working hard to get a new media and content out to you as soon as possible.

i think ges might not make it to moty:

Quote
he Top 100 Mods and Indie Games of 2007 will not be announced on the 20th of December as originally planned but will instead be unveiled on the 22nd of December. We have decided to push back the date to include 48hours more voting due to a few reasons:

    * A rule amendment which states any mod released in 2006 which has not released a significant new version in 2007 (and has made the top 100 before) will not be eligible to make the top 100 in 2007
    * The voting is currently very tight from the 90 to 110 mark with only a handful of votes separating the competitors, so we felt an extra 48hours of voting may come in handy... especially when you consider the following:
    * This years top 100 mods will be showcased on the AMD! Game website as well as Mod DB and considering this site sees 4 million gamers a month, this represents an amazing opportunity for the top 100 to reach a different big audience of people and companies beyond the Mod DB

As always good luck to all developers, modders we encourage you to make the most of the next few hours because you don't want to just miss out on making this years top 100!

There are a bunch of great mods in the top 100, though.
