Most anticipated weapon IMO. That is definately awesome.  This is seriously going to be a fun weapon. :)

In the original ge, I can't say that I ever used the sniper rifle. I am however, quite excited for it's release in this mod as it's a pc based game instead of console. It will see far more use - skilled use at that- and especially with the prevalance LTK servers, this will make things interesting.

Yeah no surface on the horizon (ignore pun keke) but cradle will kick butt for this gun im guessing with a server of 16, half of which carrying this monster

Looks really good. The only thing is that the wood looks a little bit odd, but it probably looks better ingame.

Well, FONFA, whats the status report on surface since you were recruited to the team with it at like 20 percent or something.

Well, POLIZEI, it's been a whole year and i'm a much better level designer now. Besides that, surface is a pretty hard map to do. So, i'm going to use my new skills and start it from scratch! Believe me, it'll be MUCH better.

Trust me, i reckon Cradle will make up for Surface in the mean time....
It sounds like an AWP fightyard to me.. :-\ There better be only one Sniper in Cradle. One at the MAX. ::)

diffrence there is that the awp was a one shot kill, sniper did like 40 damage ;)

Sniper is 50 to head, same damage as most 9mm weapons.  It's really just PP7-S without spread, with 10° FOV, and an eigth round.

Just out of curiosity, why is the render of an L42A1 with a silencer and a stainless steel barrel? Isn't the sniper rifle in GE007 more like the VSS Vintorez?

Please, not that shit again.  Goldeneye Sniper Rifle is based on a Super Soaker.  Now we have The Bishop.  Deal with it.

In fact there should be at MAX 2 snipers in a map. 1 to snipe, and another to counter-snipe the other sniper ;)

from what i remeber the gun in GE64 was a totaly made up gun that didnt really relate specifiacly to any real world gun. the creators didnt want to have to pay gun manufactures for the names and likness of the guns. so they sort of made their own versions that were based off of the real world guns and sort of barroed from their own design styles, and from other guns to create sort of a hybrid.

so arguing things like "OMGZZZ this isnt the balh blah gun from 1967" is kind of a pointless argument when they were modeling 20 polygon weapons hahah
