Title: I made a silly little mod to Team Fortress 2, and I can't get it to work.

The Sniper's SMG is pretty bad, so I thought I'd show this by replacing it with the Klobb. I copied over the model and sound files from GE:S, and the model seems to be invisible. The sounds work just fine, though.

You do not really want us to help you ripping our models?

People use the Sniper's SMG?

I don't think you'll find much help here if you're ripping our content to mod another game. Might have to do with the fact that we're using different textures, a different rig, or may have compiled something differently.

This seems ike an overly obvious solution...

But are you on a sv_pure 1 server?

You can't just move the model into the directory and expect it to work. As far as I'm aware it would need to be rigged for TF2 and I guarantee nobody will help you with that.

If you're looking for weapon mods go to fpsbanana, chances are you might find an smg replacement.

Damn. I guess I'll have to be content with custom sounds. The SMG sounds surprisingly good with the Klobb's sounds, actually.
