It will be released with the next patch so you can have a local server to play on. :P

The script will also be opened up so you can change it how you see fit.

I saw that you have the lua posted in the wiki, but i tried implementing it on one of my test servers, and was able to start the game, but couldn't spawn.  and when i had someone else join, the round would start, then immediately end b/c the spawns were broken or something.  I dont know if that script just isnt in a usable form, or if the ascii characters in the code weren't copying correctly into my text document.

Let me know if you have a solution to this, or if I should just hold off a few days if it will be implemented in 3.1

P.S. Never mind, I just realized the script said at the top "needs beta 3.1 to run" :P

Yeah, there is a much improved version of the script as well. Just wait to 3.1 as it uses alot of new functions.

Saw this once and was a little confused in the beginning but it is a lot fun, can't wait for 3.1 :-)

Scripts are for noobs   ::)
Would like to try this gun game, its fun in CS, not so much HL2DM due to only 9 weapons so wouldn't take long.

Is this still going? I've just started playing GE:S and I'm really impressed by how faithful it is the original, but a new mode sounds interesting too. It's just I have yet to see a gun game server with people on it, even if I optimistically sit in it for a good 20 minutes shooting innocent wall panels while I wait for someone else to join.

A few days ago the only populated server was running gun gay so I figured if my only GES option is Counter Strike, I'll just play Counter Strike.
