Title: Weapon ammo oddity
Post by: keefy on February 25, 2010, 12:06:55 am
I noticed my reserve ammo went down when I picked up a weapon that uses the same ammo.
Holding ZMG then pickup Klobb reults in 10 less bullets
Holdin Klobb then pickup phantom results in 40 less ammo

You get 10 free bullets with a gun. Klobb holds 20. Phantom holds 50.

Pretty much.  In 007, your weapons unloaded and reloaded with every switch.  Source doesn't like that, so we settled on keeping weapon magazines in Source style, but you will auto-load a new weapon if you have the ammo.

In short, get the crate before the gun and it's loaded. Get the gun then the crate, and you'll want to top it off.
