My son just recently bought himself an Oculus Quest 2. I was definitely impressed by my demo time on it. I've been looking into it a bit today in terms of how it could apply to GoldenEye: Source. I am pretty sure that half life 2 is available to play in steam vr by what I could decipher from this article https://www.techradar.com/how-to/how-to-play-half-life-1-and-half-life-2-in-vr Now, not having been able to see any trace of anyone playing GoldenEye: Source in VR but I did find someone playing half life 2 deathmatch in vr I am sitting here wondering if anyone has tried any of this stuff yet or if it was even possible that since in whatever form half life 2 is available on steam Vr if the source mod could be applied to it and played in vr as well? If that were possible I'd be buying the oculus for myself ASAP. Just wanted to see if anyone else knew anything else in regards to this or even just thoughts on the topic.

This sounds cool.  It's like a way to show you who the top player(s) are so you know who go to after.  Something like that could be implemented into Arsenal.

Edit - Maybe when the player(s) is on the last level, a global arrow is placed over their head(s) and their radar icon changes to a star.

Also while I'm at it, has a Christmas-themed mode ever been thought of? Like, I don't know, one player is selected to be Santa at the start of the round, and they have to deliver presents to.....ah I haven't thought that out yet  :-X

A few years ago, Kraid made a Christmas map that describes a little bit in what you're talking about.

I am a big fan of your work. Uplink is the most played mode on my server. Thank you very much for this contribution.

I know this is an old suggestion, but it inspired me to make True Colors -- a game mode where each player gets their own distinct radar icon color.

Kind of reminds me a little of Perfect Dark, where you could have up to 8 different team colors simultaneously and the radar would show them accordingly.

A more colorful way to play. Each player gets their own unique radar color. In free for all, the top-scoring players are marked by stars. In teamplay, Janus players are Xs and MI6 players are Os.
