lol Terps. I doubt we'll fix another bug for the public for a while unless its a gamebreaker. 3 updates in a week is asking a little much for our wider audience to keep up with. Cheers for the post though. We'll look at it.

We do have a slight problem, I forgot to increment the internal version number of the client dll for proper functionality of the update notifier....

AND it's fixed. So if you downloaded the client patch or server patch before, please re-download the SERVER PATCH and just overwrite the dlls (client.dll and server.dll) from the bin directory.... Or else you will see the warning about being behind a version constantly.

Thanks for the quick update to 4.2 but how long do you think it will be before the game controller bug is fixed?  I heard 4.2.1 does not address this.  I use a controller and mouse and I've never been comfortable using a keyboard to move in pc games so this bug kills GES for me.

Someone please help!

Controller Bug? Xbox 360 controller works perfect for me, what controller do you have?

I did use a 360 controller but I beat that thing to death.  I now use a Logitech Rumblepad Dual Stick Controller.  Have you installed 4.2.1 already cuz I have not?  So you are saying in 4.2 you havent seen any issues like I mentioned?  I'll go buy another 360 controller if that will do it.

I never saw any post about a controller bug. Either way it has nothing to do with our mod, what you describe sounds like a windows driver issue.

Redownload the server zip and overwrite the files in the bin directory.

Was wondering, what was actually changed in the UMC GES fix compared to the latest official UMC build?

It sets the "nextlevel" variable instead of solely relying on sm_nextmap which doesn't work in GES 4.2 due to a variety of reasons.

Not sure where to post this: 4.21 full and 4.1 to 4.2 off moddb/filefront as well as the 4.1 to 4.2 patch from the mirror in the release thread for that register as corrupted for me. Can anyone tell me if it is just my computer? I managed to get 4.1 full from moddb/filefront to work.

I've downloaded and used 4.2.1 full off moddb just fine.
