Hands on auto weapons
« on: February 20, 2010, 02:50:35 am »

I think that many more people would keep playing this, if you developers put hands on the auto weapons. It is very unattractive to me when I'm using the M16 and I don't see a hand holding the clip. If you could please add this to your next beta, i would be infinitely thankful.    ;D

Erm..have you ever played the ORIGINAL Goldeneye 64?  Not trying to be rude, but this game isn't about realism.  The original held ALL guns one handed, there was no view of another hand holding the gun, only ever one.  Hell, in single player, you could duel wield heavy machine guns.

I think that people who judge games based on how many hands are on the weapon do not deserve the right to play video games and should have their XBOX, PS3, Wii, and PC set on fire and be restricted from all entertainment for a minimum of 2 years.

This might sober them up to the fact that the number of hands on a weapon DOES NOT IMPACT GAMEPLAY WHATSOEVER.

Also you should buy a Nintendo 64, experience the greatness that is GoldenEye 64, and then realize that we are a mod that pays tribute to this greatness and refuse to stoop to the level of "realism" that has plagued every video game since HL1 came out.

BTW, thanks for playing and look forward to fragging you ingame ;-)

Pretty sure the world models have both hands on the larger weapons.

3rd person animations had 2 hands on the weapons in the original.

1st person weapons did not.

I will take your word for that because i cannot be bothered digging out my N64.
For consistancy and attention to detail purposes I say have hands on the weps but it is a minor detail and isnt game breaking.
