a server ?
« on: March 19, 2009, 03:48:51 pm »

i have a server question. yesterday i was able to load my server up fine. no probs. i saw it on the master server list on GES and on the steam server list. On both the lan and the internet tab.
Yesterday i thought i solved the problem so i removed some unwanted programs. In that process, I deleted a program called no-ip. I downloaded it because i thought my isp was blocking port 27015. after removing this program, I cant seem to get my server back on the server list. Would this be the cause of my server not loading.

Wasn't that a dynamic DNS tool?

Probably has nothing to do with anything.

Check status to see if anything's changed. Maybe you got a new IP#, or maybe the server can't bind the port it wants. If that's the problem you might want to take +ip and/or +port out of your server arguments.
