Toothache from hell
« on: March 01, 2009, 03:55:52 am »

Past few days I've had a tooth that was being really sensitive. Today, that tooth has made it's offensive attack and now I am experiencing some of the worst feelings I have ever felt. I've been able to somewhat fight it off with orajel and Ibuprofen, but the tooth still comes out victorious for the time being.

Sadly the dentists were all closed by the time that attack came, and tomorrow is Sunday which is balls. The tooth picked the absolute worst time to fight. My guess is that a root canal will likely be in order, which was done for the same tooth on the opposite side a couple years back. Luckily, dentists are getting better and there's not muching feeling during the procedure, but it still sucks, especially when you currently don't have dental insurance. Looks like my wallet will have a big dent at the end of this war.

The tooth from a couple years ago simple killed over and died without fighting me. This new tooth has become my hell.

I find the Ibuprofen to be working better than the orajel, just too bad it likes to instantly wear off on me without giving me warning, then it takes about 30min for the drugs to kick in. That 30min intermission sucks.

I had a tooth ache about 2 months ago from a cavity on one of my bottom molars. It really hurt, my tooth has since died and I'll be getting a root canal and filling soon.

Yeah, toothaches definitely hurt. Whatever you do, don't do the "Cast Away" style solution.

I had this terrible cavity about a month ago, but it appears to have faded away.

Try brushing with Sensodyne. I do whenever I start getting a pain in my teeth.

When I was 9, I was racing against my friend at my school. But then, a retarded kid went directly in my path. I was running, so I couldn't stop. I hit him and my teeth hit the ground.

4 of my teeth broke. It was pain in the ass to breath, because it was hurting A LOT!!!

Heh. The other tooth I was talking about felt slightly funky for a couple weeks, but it didn't hurt at all. Quite awhile later is when suddenly part of the tooth just broke off, while I was eating something really soft for some reason... That's when I went to the denist and got the root canal and got it filled up. Now it looks like a healthy tooth again!

That's what happened to me as well. Thats because the tooth died, and started to decay and weaken. Which eventually a piece broke off. Not sure if you had this too, but when that happened to me I started to have really bad breath because of the tooth decay. Glad it's been fixed now.
