first of all, nobody, except for fat, out of shape video game losers with no friends or girls would be so desparate to play GE: Source that they would pay money for an entirely different game in order to get to the one they want to play

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the act of theivery the ultimate act of desperation? When you can't get something by the money earned from the sweat of your own brow? I mean, i'd have to be pretty ****ing desperate to rob a grocery store or a bank lol that would be the lowest of my life i'd feel!
Rather than shell out on some pretty damn good quality games such as HL2, TF2, Portal 2 or L4D and therefore not just get access to GE:S for free, but also own one of the critically acclaimed 'game of the year' games, he's so eager to play it hes trying to find a way NOT to spend any money and resort to the piracy way (thieving) and THEN has the audacity to say that only people who think and make decisions with their wallets are desperate sad, fat, lonely losers.
No, that would be the "desperate" sad, fat, lonely piracy loser who obviosuly doesn't have a job and thereford cant afford to buy half-Life 2 for 6.99!
For what it's worth, if I didn't already own every valve game made so far, hell id buy HL2 to play GE:S.
