An Australian-made documentary seeking to explore and discuss the history and impact of GoldenEye 007 on N64 has been announced today. GoldenEra will examine how an inexperienced team were able to defy expectations and build one of the most respected and influential console shooters ever.
The team has revealed the film alongside an IndieGoGo campaign to assist in its completion. They also showcased a brief trailer, which features interviews with a variety of experts from both the game and media industries (including GoldenEye 007 veterans Karl Hilton and B. Jones, as well as IGN’s Peer Schneider and Tristan Ogilvie).

That's awesome.
I really hope they mention GE: Source in the documentary. That will highlight just how much we all love this game.
-
GE: Source absolutely must have a place in this documentary, perhaps an entire segment... it's a huge part of what's kept this game alive for all of us for years and its existence is the very definition of why the original was so special. That, and the folks over at The-Elite who still spend hours a day playing the N64 version to knock a second or two off of world records - any doc wouldn't be complete without them, too.
-
Well, looks like they included both GE: Source and The-Elite on the funding page ... 10,000,000 points to them!
This appears to be a worthwhile cause for anyone who loves this game to support.
