I could care less if the dev team supports it or not. It's mainly members of the community that answer questions about it, if people even have them. I still see people playing 1.0 while a majority of the community is playing 1.1h...so I think if they made a small announcement about it I think it would get a good amount of attention. They could even put a nice little disclaimer that says that they don't support it and to check with the community if problems were to arise. Even since I made the post in the General Goldeneye board about 1.1h, I've seen a lot of new faces, and there has been some good games going on. Otherwise I feel like I have to bump my topic so that new people to the mod see and understand it. Bottom line is the game is stable and fun to play, and I just think there should be something mentioned about it. It's easy to get the word out for this, and then there can be a nice player surge brought to the community...then when the dev team releases, there won't be such a "rush" to let everyone know about it. The players will already be there. Just a small, tiny block on the main page would be fine...nothing huge. (or whatever you guys want of course) Personally, I'd like to see the day where I can kill the 1.0 and replace it with another gamemode in 1.1h.

Pimpinjuice if you have time could you build a linux so file that works.
I'll be the first happy to have a so working, but I prefer to see him working on the sweet BETA 3. This is a thread about BETA 3!

So when you guys said in the update that every month or around that will be another installment, you said the first one is going to take a while because you have to build the code up first..so how long do you think extra do we have to wait. Like a month and half? Maybe this is too early to ask :)

Not really sure, to be honest.  We just aren't sure how long it is going to take.  As soon as we have a stable build that has enough features to be playable, we'll release it.  You'll be able to get an idea from the programmer and dev blogs on how things are going.  The ep3 build is already playable, we've got one map in the final stages of bug testing, and the pp7 in.  KM and Anthony are updating the build every few days, so I'm optimistic.  Bugs and real life can have big effects though, so theres no way to give a good estimate until things get farther along.

The new Cradle theme is awesome, I like the theatrical element in it. I would also prefer if you just leave the Bond you have in the next release. Atleast he resembles Brosnan some. This other guy, not so much. But, I'm pleased to hear the news.

As much as waiting longer bothers me, I'm quite happy to hear that the game is gonna be better. You guys have my full trust, I can't wait to see the results!  ;D

The stabbing animation is great. I noticed something : Bond's stance. I dunno if the model you used for the clip is an actual body model that you are going to use, but the way Bond is erect (no faulty thoughts here), I really like. All those Bond and Ourumov leaning like in Counterstrike is quite un-GE64.

I think hes asking if beta 3 will have anything to offer besides a motion blur that the current 1.1h doesn't have. Are we still getting the new guns?

We are unsure at the moment what exact content will be in the first BETA 3.0 (EP2 Engine) release. Right now we only have a few maps running, and just one weapon. Of course we will continue to add more content, but as to what exactly will be in, or if there will be any 'new' content [from previous releases'], we are unsure at the moment.

Our goal right now is to get the game running bug free, so that when we do release, it will be enjoyable for you guys no matter how much content [or not] there is. We'd would rather have a stable [bug free] release on the EP2 Engine than to have more content.

As you fix up the mod is there a chance a few character there was in the previous versions will be in this or is this too early to ask.
