Not much of an intense topic, but what do you use to browse the forums? I use:
Firefox
Google Chrome
The one on the Psp
Opera on the Wii (using it to make this topic)
The one in Steam when you're in game.
What about the rest of you?

FYI, Vista works just fine, though I too was skeptical at first.
A few idiotic ideas were born from the developer's minds, but if you know how to use Google, you can get around them.
I'm getting along just fine with it, and haven't had any issues since I fixed the last thing.
A lot of the Mac anti-Vista attack ads are propaganda.
But this is off topic.

Vista is fucking awful. You can tell yourself otherwise but, meh.

I found Vista to be fine. I always had newer hardware so drivers really were not a issue, and I was using Vista since it was called Longhorn.
I never had any system stopping problems, or really bad drivers. Only bad thing was Pinnacle not making x64 bit drivers.. but there just a terrible company in general.

Just use Help to look for how to turn it off in the Control Panel (Not as simple as that sounds, but I did it.)

Some programs/games won't run properly. Go into its properties and mess with the compatible tick boxes until it functions. (I usually end up checking all of them off.)
There is only one thing that pisses me off royally about Vista, and what an asinine concept it is.
I can't remember what it's called, but there's this thing hidden in Vista that supposedly protects the user from any infections that activate when an .exe is ran.
1. That's what AVG is for.
2. It sucks.
You know why it sucks? It had never activated before, but one day, Firefox just shut down suddenly. No warning, no asking me if I want to save what I was doing, nothing. It just disappeared, followed by a balloon message on what had happened, telling me that it shutdown the program to protect me.
...From what!?
No description of "problem", or any advice as to how to fix it. It just shut down Firefox at random, and continued to do so quite frequently.
Now, you can try to turn this thing off, but it's very hard to find, and even if you manage to track it down, you cannot
shut the damn thing off. It will tell you that it needs this to run properly. Bullshit.
You have to Google a command to enter in the freaking command prompt to deactivate this thing.
Ugh...
But at least I got rid of it.

So, getting around those three things, you're good to go.

I use Opera mostly. If that doesn't work, then I use Firefox.

Internet Explorer, firefox, safari, and chrome it all depends on what pc I am on.

opera because idk firefox bookmarking isnt as good imo so ive always had opera as my primary browser for forums, and tabs run well in it and sessions save. Its win overall.
For google and gmail i use IE, dont ask me why, just seems like a fine idea.

I see what you did there...
Chrome is cool, but the Tabs mess up when you have alot of them open; there is not a minimum width like in Firefox, so then I'm left with the page icon to figure out what is what.

Really slow? Are you on like a Pentium 2? lol, I've had the same OS and Firefox install for nearly 2 years in a row once and FireFox has always been absolutely blindingly fast, even when I personally install add-ons.

I use IE7. I never have any problems with it.
I run it on Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Vista is just fine.. all you gotta do is tweak it to get around those little annoyances (UAC for one - which is very very simple...)

Only problem I see with that is looking at porn. Otherwise I have at most ten tabs open and I can see the one I want fine. My 2p.
Been using Chrome since its launch. Pity there's no middleclick hyperscroll or proper addons, but it's otherwise gravy. Now that the community's got a fresh buzz I'll probably visit this place more often, meaning my Wii when I'm not downstairs in lieu of my borked laptop.

Firefox. I like chrome but i use too many FF addons to switch, they add so many awesome things that chrome just doesn't have.

Chrome is faster but it doesnt highlight the links you middle click so if there is a big list your do not know where you were up to its the little things like that that make me not want to use it and no adblock.

Just downloaded the new Safari-4 Beta, I'm liking it so far. Fast, sleek design. Allot like Chrome, but works on X64 Windows 7 so makes me happy :)

I just downloaded it (Using it to post), and it seems to go slower than Firefox on my computer. Maybe it is because I didn't restart yet.

It is a little sluggish, but not that bad. Would still use Chrome if I could.. Most likely will go back to Firefox.
(Also can't start Battlefield:Heroes with safari, so at a loss there as-well)

Whoever thinks vista is just crap most likely has crappy hardware. Anybody with a decent computer (dual core, 2 gigs of ram, and some sort of dedicated graphics) will run it perfectly fine. I have been using it for about 2 years now and I find that it stays a lot cleaner than xp did. XP tended to get cluttered after about a couple months of use....even if you keep cleaning it and stuff..it just naturally gets slower. (and I know how to keep my computers clean) Vista, however, continually runs at the same speed as if you installed it the day before. It's speed is right next to xp's in my opinion. All these rumors about Vista running games horribly really aren't that true. My games (mostly all source, bioshock, call of duty 4) all run EXACTLY the same framerates or even better then when I ran them on xp 1 years ago...same exact graphics setting and everything. Anyway, I think this "rumor" about vista just started and then everyone just bitches when something new comes out....like people are doing about windows 7. They are like OMMMMGMGG IT WINDOWS VISTA WITH UPGRADES OMGODFGFOMGFOMG. :)
The only way you are gonna like something is to try it, don't assume from what people say. :)

My friend Pashos bought a new computer with Vista pre-installed, and whenever the computer goes into sleep mode, it will Blue Screen. That should never happen.
But then again, this topic is about Browsers, not Operating Systems.

I use Chrome to browse, my psp to check my server populations and the steam browser when i am in game :angel:

Google Chrome, had it since the first beta release and haven't had a problem with it since. The only thing it needs right now is Google Toolbar, and you have to admit, the Easter Eggs are pretty neat.

You probably didnt upgrade either. Firefox fixed that and now its version 3.5. Upgrade and try it out.
back on topic, I use Firefox 3.5 and I use Bunjallo on my Nintendo DS Lite.
