Bunker is planned, but if you want to make a Third Party bunker map for the time being, you are free too.

By planned do you mean almost finished, and making my own will be a waste of time?

Bunker is currently on hold, and wasn't near complete when we put it on hold.

We won't do that. The level is still going to be created, but it's on hold right now. You can make your own bunker, no problem. Thats completely up to you.

Or if you want, you can apply to join the team as a Level Designer. But you would need to show previous work.

The only reason i haven't is the topic ' No open Level Design positions available for the time '.

When will more positions open up?

We are all ways looking for good talent so if you think you have what it takes, post up. However it will be more challenging than a normal app as we dont have free spots.

Well i have to ge_classic_bunker. Only need a other editor to finish the map.

BTW : I will reallese maps where original levels like Dam and Runway are connected. ( Map is finshed )

So i think i can connect the Cradle with caverns and control. Only have to look if the game
support so much Polygons.

I would pay money to get the old cradle back. Ad me on Facebook. I am ever glad about new members. Specially when they come from GE:S. My name is Rudolf von Ank

Are you talking about dumping the GE64 map files as OBJ's? (I assume that is considering your GE Setup Editor background)

Not only is that technically illegal to distribute (an exact copy of Rare's work down to the polygon) but once you have that OBJ you can't export it to a Hammer .vmf to be compiled in Source because all of the walls and floors are single-sided flat polygons, and to be used in a .vmf all of the polygons have to be convex cubes and prisms (essentially).

Wrong!

Ripping & reverse engineering isn't allowed.

I'm afraid he's correct. However, if I'm not mistaken, Softimage supports .vmf export. As I haven't looked into it really, I'm not sure to what extent that could work, and how much work to the tris that would have to be done.
It'd be extremely unwise of GE:S to officially affiliate themselves with maps that are directly ripped from the original game, it is as kraid said, very much illegal. The entire hacking scene isn't exactly in a favourable light actually, legally speaking.

Yes, XSI does support a .vmf export, but as has been said before, all the polygons which make up the exported object have to be convex and not have any sides missing in order to be properly exported. The maps in GE64 are made entirely out of single-sided polygons, so they can't be converted to a .vmf.
