Hi community.
We are working to fix an issue with session caching.
To remedy this situation yourself (for now), use a seperate browser and choose one of the timed session values. Do not select "forever" as this will give the same outcome. You want to make sure "always logged in" is unticked if using the login form.
You can then switch back to your original browser (for measure, dump the forums cache locally).
Yes, this will mean logging in manually each time, but allow you to post.
We shall remedy this ourselves asap. We are navigating a likely release delay (due to valve bug) and ask you to bare with us for the forum side of things.
sincerely,
Team GoldenEye: Source

Wtf Valve! You people ruin whenever a release is near! For freaking sakes, hire more coders or tell Gabe to get his fat ass of the couch and fix some bugs!

You should have realized 4.2 wouldn't come out with the server browser broken before Wake even posted this.
-
Hopefully, The servers are fixed for the release.
Question, Will there be a public chat room for the release like we had for 4.1 night? It was quite nice to have all those people holed up in one place.
-
Glad to hear the forum bug is being addressed. Sorry to hear about the release delay though but it's better that 4.2 be released without this server browser issue so as not to deter new players from playing the mod
-
Valve always seems to screw up just at about the right time for an impending release.
If I didn't know better I'd say they're doing it deliberately.
-
At least this time they did it before a release, not short after it like with beta 3.

I believe I fixed the session posting error on the forums, I followed a hot fix posted on SMF's forums....
The patch was applied at ~2100 EST
-
Good job in getting it fixed. Now we need Valve to fix the server list...

We have some special ideas. Let's hope they work out.
