Title: 3d Artist & Animator
Post by: juzcapes on December 09, 2009, 04:17:39 pm
Hello,

I absolutely loved Golden Eye on the N64 and played it to death license to kill pistols! When Gameplay had a Golden Eye Multiplayer UK competition I came 8th in my region and my mate came second in the UK. I would love to contribute to your fantastic project if at all possible.

I have some games industry experience on two titles for DS and PS2 (one of which, Beverly Hills Cop is a first person shooter) as character artist, prop artist and animator (start up companies so had to pitch in on everything).

my portfolio website http://www.juzcapes.co.uk (http://www.juzcapes.co.uk) has examples of my artwork.

I work in Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop & 3ds Max.

I thank you for your time.

I would say you are EXACTLY the kind of talent that befits this team. Multiple profficient fields and couldnt be at a better time to get more animators. Thats probly what we would ask most from you. The biggest things we have to do are characters, and animation work and maybe tweaks and polish in that field. But thats not up to me I must stress. A lead dev from 3D will be along within 12 hours to give their opinion and likely i cant see why not ; bump to trial!

Good luck :D

Wake pretty much nailed it on the head. We are pretty short on Character Artists and Animators at the moment so youll probably get a trial in one of these areas. Id imagine Spider will be along soon to give the verdict. We have a Character trial running at the moment though and i dont have that much time to help co-ordinate a trial atm so i dont know what youll get at this time

Just wait and see i guess

Nice portfolio btw ;)

None of your work really stands out to me, but you have a solid portfolio.  Look for spider to give the final word .

If you are to work on character animations YOU HAVE TO LEARN XSI.

There is no other option (at least for GES at this stage in the game)

Hi,

I would prefer to do animation work.

I have had some experience with XSi and can get back into it.

since we need animators pretty bad, and thats your focus, we can give you a shot as a trial member go ahead and make a thread in the trial members section and we will get you something to do.
