Title: auto aim
Post by: Kratos on April 28, 2009, 02:51:54 pm
I was playing Golden eye 007 on the N64 and I noticed a feature that is not in GES source and the feature I'm talking about is the cross hair automatically targets on a enemy, thus killing him faster that way.  I think its called auto aim right? or its called something else idk. In ges source, you have to manually aim at the person and point blank shoot him. I like the automatic way lol.

Can this feature be put in the next patch or version?

Thanks

Don't be so mean. Just wait for VC to come and show some love.

Auto-aim would be a little bit unvair in online gaming, but that's only my opinion...

lol i was gonna put something about VC but i deleted it..

Yeah GE64 was a 4 player max.. whilst online gaming here is limitless really.. and with a keyboard and mouse over a bulky pitchfork controller.. i'd figure aiming would be a littttttle bit easier..

"killing him faster that way."

Autoaim, at best, will take at least twice as long to kill someone than you can do if you are able to aim for the head.  Four or five times at worst.

Train your skills.

Everytime i play GE64 Multiplayer, auto-aim is the first thing i turn off.
With the precission of a Mouse, you are far more accurate then you were with a controller.
It's simply pointless to add something like this.
