"Quantum of Solace" is the title of a James Bond short story written by Ian Fleming, part of "For Your Eyes Only" (originally published in 1960).
According to producer Michael G. Wilson, no elements of Fleming's story are used for the film beyond the title.
The term "quantum of solace" means "a small measure of comfort amid sorrow or disappointment".

LOL, it's a little bit rude to flame the next JB movie just because of its title... But yea, if there are no elements of the Fleming's story, it's a crappy title.

I dunno, the name just sound too much like Harry Potter, "Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Pheonix". As for the game, they better make it good.

err but Xanatos, the movie casino royale played the book's elements that could apply today. So imo its much different.
The only thing im hoping is how DC reportedly suggested a bisexual encounter with a man in the next bond film, that would be just irrepairable ; asiding that event ill love the film as i did his first. But they should die his hair more, making it darrrkkk not just lighter brown

They will, 99.9% confident they will. Remember in "A View to a Kill" where Ronnie Walken quotes the title while flying his blip around and Grace looks at him like she was witnessing the lowest point in his career, past and future? It'll be like that, but at least "view to a kill" sounds like something a half-mad evildude would say.

and that bisexual crap is bullshit. people have been pushing rumors on daniel craig since he was cast. there's a whole online community about hating craig. remember when we thought he got his teeth knocked out in his first fight scene - it was a fabrication. one of a long list of false rumors.

Can't wait for it though as Craig seems to be one of the best Bonds I've ever seen.

No. Because it would be completely selling out Ian Fleming's character and the whole dynamic of James Bond just to get gay people to come out and spend money to see Daniel Craig fucking a dude. Hence the PC bullshit.
