Question for the mappers. Do you like typing up your loadout for your map? I'm sure you said no. So, heres an easy to use little tool for you. I call it Goldout. Take a look.
It's pretty simple. First, you load your VMF or BSP. Then select your weapons and items for your spawns, as well as your entity delay times.

goto Output> Create Loadout and there you go. Complete with (optional) syntax coloring.

loadouts are no longer a pain in the ass. I'll be releasing the source soon. Mappers enjoy. If you find any bugs just PM on here.

Wow it's cool, i try it ;)

lol, awesome job. Beta 3 will be much easier on the mapper when it comes to weapon spawns. This is good though!

thanks, i just updated it to support BSP files and fixed a major bug. much more useful now.

another update...fixed 2 bugs and added syntax coloring to the output text. shouldn't be anymore bugs. i found one that would replace the bsp file with the loadout text when you saved. sorry if anyone was affected by this.

THANK YOU!
It's so frustrating when none of my weapons spawns work because I missed one of those "{" and now I also won't have to go to my scripts folder when I cant remember the name of a weapon entity.
Brilliant, thanks!

I don't know if it's just me, but syntax coloring makes me feel like I'm drawing with crayons in kindergarten.
I don't know....

well thats why its optional.

but as the file gets larger, it is more useful to have visual cues to show separation in the layout, and will help if something is in the wrong place (not being the expected color)

once the loadout is created it really isnt that hard to open up notepad and edit it. just look for the uniquename and change the value.

I'm not complaining, it's just something that makes me feel weird. It's practically in every language anyway so I pretty much got used to it.
