Title: [FIXED] No Source SDK - Orange Box in tools??

 I have a steam account that the only game I have is Left 4 Dead, wich work whit the orange box engine, but I don't have source sdk base orange box in my tools. Is it normal doctor ?

Correct, afaik only the Source SDK base comes with L4D not the Orange box version...

This is an issues due to Valve,  we are hoping they might change that, or it will come out when the SDK for l4d is released.

Ive downloaded Beta 3 and 1.1 worked fine, i have SDK Base installed, however i cannot see the Orange Box version anywhere.

Ive tried the Steam AppId 218 shortcut in my browser and it does nothing?

Please help!

Do you only have Left 4 dead?  It would seem Valve made it so you have to buy the Orange box or maybe just one game from the orange box to get the 2007 SDK (OB SDK), I am not sure, however I do think its a bug that Valve will eventually fix.
I say its a bug because at one point to play mods yu had to have HL2 as you main game, if you only had HL2DM say you were unable to play any mods even though the mods were based of HL2DM, that is now fixed btu it did take them well over a year if I remeber correctly :(.

Yes i have left 4 dead and hl2DM.  I got SDK Base with L4D

i have sent an email to valve in regards to this issue. Going to have to wait a couple of days for a response though.

After restarting my pc today BETA 3 is now in my games list ?  Odd but it works.
