Title: Hockey mod
Post by: SuperFlyMenace on June 03, 2017, 05:45:42 am
I came across the Hockey mod. Got my ass handed to me but it's intriguing. When I tried playing a friend over LAN on the downloaded map the puck doesn't move. Is there a way to fix this on my end in the console? I appreciate any insight.

Probably you need the server's plugin to run it (serverside, rather than clientside). I tried to search for it, but didn't find it; so probably you need to contact with someone from the hockey server.

...However, in my humble opinion, I don't believe that they'll send no one their plugin, but you can try.

You require the Hockey gamemode to make it work properly. As far as I am aware, no public release is available unfortunately, so it is unique to the hosted server.

Damn. That sucks. Only loop hole I've found is after I log into a hockey server, when I log back out the physics of the game mode are still active if I play against bots on my own. It's fun shooting boxes at them and killing them.

if you just want to move the puck, set these in the dev console:

phys_pushscale 55000
ge_velocity 1.75

That definitely gets the puck going. Thank you :-)
