http://www.1001freefonts.com/
Actually has over 6000 fonts. They are all free to download individually, and for $15 you can download a zip file with all 6000 fonts.

Hawt, but do you know of a way to get GIMP to not take seven years to load when you load up on fonts? 20MB of fonts is enough to make it sit-and-wait slow.

I only use photoshop, so can't help ya.

www.dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com) is also pretty good and check smashingmagazine.com (http://smashingmagazine.com) for free fonts now and again.

I have untold myriads of fonts. What I need is something that can preview them, let me sort them by type, and dynamically add and remove them from windows.
The last part, mostly because the GIMP is retarded and takes about 100 years to start up for each megabyte of font you have installed.
