Yes, I understand. Just thought dual P90's could be left out due to gameplay balancing issues, because someone with a steady aim and two RCP90's can make short work of an heavily armored foe. But giving a better thought, it was this way in the original, so it should stay that way.

The damage per-bullet is the same, the only difference is that you shot twice more bullets. if you can land all those bullets in your enemy, then you're doing more damage in the same lapse of time; otherwise, it's a waste of ammo.

The dual-weapon-more-ammo-same-damage thing makes sense.
Huh... never thought of it that way.
Guess the natural impression is that more bullets everywhere = more damage.

Incorrect.  Damage rate is unchanged.  Duals allow you to fire longer without reloading and carry more ammunition, since ammo in your magazines does not count toward your carry limit.

If it allows you to fire for a longer time without reloading, then it will be good for spammers :o :o.

Either way, thanks for clearing this up for us. After all, I was seeing dual-wielding from the wrong angle.

If you dual wield rocket launchers, you shot two rockets at once (you can get guns to shoot simultaneously in ge64). There are two explosions. So, I still don't understand what you guys are saying. Why even include dual wielding if it doesn't do more damage. I don't mean more damage per shot, i mean there are two bullets firing not one, hence two bullet damges. This makes sense to me. What you guys are saying isn't lol

No it shouldn't.

Dual rockets give you twice the amount of firey volume.

Dual will be included because people want dual.

You can fire two bullets with one gun. Doesn't do two damages there, either.

And that's why dual was never in Multiplayer.  It doesn't make a big difference.  At least for some weapons. Pistols, GrenL, RL, Klobb; those will certainly be improved with dual status.

So, duals is just to look like you're cool and stuff, to like you're some kind of Rambo and to feed your habit of wasting ammo, basically. You can get the job done with only one gun.

EDIT:
Full pull: in one round, use all available weapons and score a kill with each one.
