Title: [NOTED] Dual-Glass Panes
Post by: Rodney 1.666 on February 26, 2009, 01:51:20 am
Now and then, a pane of glass can be destroyed twice, and is required to be before passing.

I believe this is a bigger issue then this.

Seems glass randomly doubles into two panes of glass, can be seen in Library a lot.

I always thought library had double pane glass, but doesn't.

Would seem so.
Was just playing earlier, and noticed a different pane do the same thing.

My guess is that damaged glass triggers a timed respawn, even if the glass isn't destroyed.  I've seen triple glass in Library.

I know one way to reproduce this, which may be the only cause of it, but who knows. If someone is touching the trigger region that prevents it from spawning on top of a player when a round ends, it will double spawn. I will look into trying to kill all the glass planes on a new round, followed by respawning them a half second later.

I left no time for it to respawn. Just blasted away at it (with ZMG) and could always get two panes.

I was completely on my own at the time. Created a server and was just messing around with stuff.

What's weird is that I could do it over and over again, otherwise I probably wouldn't have had the reflexes to get those 3 screens. ::)
And it was only that one particular pane.
