newb here with a newb question

Ok, I am new to steam, I downloaded beta 1, that works fine, i also downloaded 1.1, when i click on 1.1 under my games list i just see start new game, load game, options, quit, how do i get it to show me the servers?

it should definitely be showing you "find servers" or something like that.

Then that opens and you rf the server list if it doesnt start automatic.

You have to make absolutely sure that the contents of the folder "gesbeta1_1h" are unzipped and in C:\Program Files\steam, then you run the bat file. Otherwise it doesn't copy the beta 1 content properly, and it launches completely wrong and everything happens just as you described (this is what happened the first time I installed the patch).
